Young, up and coming artist Vykintas Simutis utilizes bold color, abstract imagery and even numbers/wording to create his original canvases. His work has a distinctly pop-art vibe, but with an original twist that encourages everyone to come away their own ideas on what they see while ruminating on statements the artist may be trying to convey. These are edgy, thought-provoking and sometimes provocative images that reflect societal conditions and issues concerning global youth. Simutis enjoys his craft immensely and draws inspiration from the world around, as well as his love for folk art, street art and classic expressionism.
